The Selection:

At Bodega 75, we don't just pick wines and create labels haphazardly. Our crew is a bunch of wine and winemaking fanatics, genuinely obsessed with our region. For us, enjoying wine isn't just about scratching an itch; it's an all-out experience, a nod to the drinking culture, and the pursuit of pure pleasure. You could say we're not selling anything we wouldn't drink ourselves, but we're aiming higher – we want to dish out the stunning consumer experience that folks will want to relive and chat about.

When we brainstormed about whipping up unique vermouth, something we'd want to keep passing around, something that'd keep folks on their toes, one family and one winery immediately popped into our heads. Those moments when you feel you've hit the jackpot – that's what we found.

The story:

Bodega 75 proudly introduce our latest vermouth special edition, crafted in collaboration with the Quiles family, aptly named Heredero. This tribute reflects our profound respect for the rich traditions and familial ethos deeply rooted in our region.

Distinguishing itself, a fine wine embodies an agricultural essence before transforming into the refined artistry of winemaking. Within Quiles family estate, an unwavering commitment to the native varieties has prevailed. Here, they cherish the belief that the most exquisite grapes for crafting exceptional wines originate from every soil. Even as Spain embraced newer, trendier grape varieties, the Primitivo Quiles family faced this evolution with resilience. The outcome? A virtuoso command over the traditional varieties, resulting in unparalleled and unmistakable flavours - achievements born not merely of knowledge, but of generational experience, meticulous labour, and the inevitable process of trial and error.

Echoing the spirit of years gone by, the helm of the winery remains under the guidance of a visionary named Primitivo. His unwavering dedication to family values and an exclusive winemaking approach define the legacy. We hold firm to the belief that over the course of generations, new heirs to Don Primitivo will emerge, ensuring the preservation of the unique local winemaking tradition.

The tasting:

The aroma is alluring, drawing you in with a captivating blend of herbs and delicate balsamic nuances, a testament to the vermouth's meticulous craftsmanship. Upon tasting, a symphony of flavours dances across the palate, ranging from the richness of raisins to the warmth of fragrant spices and the subtlety of nutty undertones, all gracefully balanced by a crisp acidity. This well-balanced acidity not only lends structure but also accentuates the vermouth's complexity. The experience culminates in a lingering aftertaste, leaving an indelible impression that invites another sip.

Best served chilled. Its versatility shines whether enjoyed alongside a wide range of antipasti or savoured on its own as a standalone aperitif. Our Vermouth Rojo complements an array of seafood delights, including mussels, clams, cockles, squid, and sardines anchovies. Cheese lovers will delight in pairing it with soft goat cheeses or more robust options like blue cheese, enhancing the vermouth's depth with each bite. Additionally, it's a perfect addition to classic cocktails, giving a touch of sophistication to every sip.
