This natural, single-varietal wine, produced in the El Comtat region by the Cup de la Muntanya winery, has unique characteristics of the area. Grown at an altitude of 650 metres in dry land, Ibis Magnum, a Latin term meaning “go big”, represents the culmination of a project led by a group of winegrowers from the Alicante mountains. Its aim is to revitalise vine cultivation in this region, introducing new varieties for the production of special wines. TASTING NOTES This 12-month aged red wine has been aged in oak barrels, revealing a remarkable persistence in the mouth with tertiary aromas of vanilla, as well as characteristic flavours of the region's native varieties. VINIFICATION Alcoholic fermentation takes place in 3000L stainless steel tanks, with strict temperature control. The wine has been macerated for 21 days on the skins and 30 days on the lees, achieving the distinctive consistency and body. It has subsequently undergone a 12-month ageing period in 225L barrels, using French and American oak. This careful process contributes to the unique expression of Ibis Magnum.
