A varietal wine made from Forcada, a pre-phylloxera variety planted on the Jean Leon estate in 2020. FO-22 reflects the winery’s belief in the potential of this recovered variety and its adaptability to climate change. An exceptional wine with a limited production of only 3,618 bottles.
Serving suggestions:
A very versatile white wine that pairs beautifully with oil-rich fish, seafood, fish or vegetable rice recipes. A good match for soft goat cheese with a bloomy rind. Fascinating in combination with Asian food, including spicy dishes.
Tasting notes:
Intense on the nose. Pronounced notes of white and tropical fruit with a hint of citrus. Voluptuous on entry, with good acidity and an exceptionally elegant palate.
