This Calvados is made from 100% cider apples from the Pays d'Auge region. It is double distilled over wood fire and aged for a minimum of 3 years in French oak barrels. The nose is fruity and fresh, with notes of tart apple and a creamy touch. The mouth is soft and smooth, with flavors of hazelnut and a touch of mint in the finish. The 3-year-old Calvados reveals intense aromas of tart fresh apple. It is very smooth and sweet, and would be ideal in a cocktail or as a digestif, chilled or at room temperature. This Calvados was voted WORLD'S BEST CALVADOS in 2014 and 2016 at the prestigious World Drinks Awards competition.
