Tardano is the wine from Agrícola La Portera in Almonacid de la Sierra. The project by Jorge Navascués, Javier del Blanco and Francisco Santis seeks a Garnacha that escapes the opulent and exuberant profile shown by other reds in the area. Here we have old vines (1983) grown in glass, vinified in steel and concrete mainly to extract all the varietal purity and freshness.
