Pago de Otazu Chardonnay 2023

Country / Region: Spain, Navarra (D.O.P. Pago de Otazu) 

Alcohol by Volume (ABV): ~14% 

Tasting Notes (Nose): Bright citrus-lemon peel, white orchard fruit (pear, apple) and subtle toasted oak aromas from French oak ageing. 

Palate: Rich yet fresh, with full body, fine minerality, elegant texture and long finish showcasing Chardonnay character. 

Winery Notes: 100% Chardonnay grapes, hand-harvested in September, fermented and aged for 6 months in French oak barrels (including bâtonnage) before bottling under the Pago de Otazu estate classification. Limited production. 

Pairing: Excellent with grilled white fish, roasted chicken, aged cheeses, creamy seafood risotto, or simply as an elegant aperitif.
