Enology

4 Cuerdas is crafted from 100% Macabeo, grown at 800 m elevation in the Bullas PDO. The grapes are hand-harvested and subjected to gentle, rapid pressing to avoid oxidation, with yields under 40% of harvested fruit. Fermentation takes place at low temperatures in stainless steel tanks to preserve freshness and aromas. No chemical stabilisation or clarification is applied, honoring the principles of minimal intervention winemaking.   

Tasting Notes

Pale straw-yellow with green highlights. The nose reveals citrus zest, tangerine, white flowers, and mineral undertones. On the palate, it is light-bodied yet expressive — refreshing acidity balances subtle fruit with a creamy texture. A saline finish adds depth and persistence.   

Food Pairing

Pairs beautifully with Mediterranean seafood, raw shellfish, ceviche, and light appetizers. Its crisp acidity and fresh profile also complement salads, grilled fish, and asparagus dishes. For a creative match — try it with white meats seasoned with citrus and herbs.
