Enology

Made from 100% Tinto Fino (Tempranillo) sourced from old vines (26–50 years) in Castrillo de la Vega at around 800 m above sea level. Clone 98 is perfectly adapted to the harsh climate of Ribera del Duero — hot days, cold winters, and poor, stony soils. After fermentation, the wine is aged for about 180 days in French oak barrels, then continues to refine in concrete tanks to preserve its bright fruit character.

Tasting Notes

Appearance: Deep ruby red.

Aroma: Plum, blackberry, wild herbs, and subtle hints of clove.

Palate: Fresh and balanced, with gentle tannins and a medium-length finish. Elegant and fruit-forward.

Food Pairing

Pairs beautifully with beef, lamb, rabbit, pork, and aged cheeses. Also excellent with game, pizza, lasagna, and grilled dishes.
