About the Wine

Produced from historic Garnacha vineyards with naturally low yields, Livius Garnacha is a wine of outstanding concentration and finesse. After careful vinification, it matures for up to two years in new French, Hungarian and American oak barrels before further refinement in bottle. The result is an elegant Rioja with exceptional purity, complexity and ageing potential.

Vineyard & Winemaking

The grapes come from old Garnacha vineyards planted between 1915 and 1940, where naturally low yields produce fruit of exceptional concentration. The wine is aged for 18–24 months in new oak barrels from France, Hungary and America, allowing every layer of fruit and spice to integrate beautifully while preserving the vineyard's character.

Appearance: Cherry-red colour with garnet reflections.

Nose: Fresh red berries, toasted oak, cocoa, cedar, sweet spices, tobacco and delicate raspberry notes.
